Javeria Hussaini, DPM, is a highly experienced podiatrist who provides patient-centered care at her practice in the Duboce Triangle neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Dr. Hussaini applies the latest treatments and approaches in podiatric medicine to help her patients return to normal activities without pain.
Dr. Hussaini pursued undergrad at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Biological Sciences. She went on to complete her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan. Dr. Hussaini then attended NewYork–Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn for her podiatric medicine and surgical residencies. While there, she became Chief Resident.
To remain current in her field, Dr. Hussaini maintains active memberships with several professional organizations, including the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners. She also stays current on her certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
Dr. Hussaini is proud to accommodate patients from diverse backgrounds; she is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. She also has a conversational understanding of Spanish. Outside of the office, Dr. Hussaini enjoys home decor, music, food, and traveling. She also enjoys the study of topics relating to wound care and macroeconomics.
